At Tannery Mor, every piece is handcrafted using vegetable-tanned leather by skilled artisans paid fairly for their work. Because of the nature of handmade goods, we ask that you read this policy carefully before purchasing.
1. Our Commitment
We stand behind the quality of every product we make. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Eligible:
- Items with a manufacturing defect (stitching failure, hardware fault, structural damage not caused by use)
- Wrong item received
- Item significantly different from product description
Not eligible:
- Natural variations in leather grain, texture, or color — these are features of vegetable-tanned leather, not flaws
- Normal wear and patina development over time
- Damage caused by misuse, water exposure, or improper storage
- Custom or personalized orders (monogrammed, bespoke sizing, made-to-order)
- Items returned without prior approval
3. Return Window
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.
For defective or incorrect items, you have 30 days.
4. How to Initiate a Return
- Email us at [your email] with subject line:
Return Request – Order #[your order number] - Include photos of the item and a brief description of the issue
- We'll respond within 2 business days with approval and return instructions
- Do not ship items back without approval — unapproved returns will not be accepted
5. Return Shipping
- Defective/wrong items: We cover return shipping costs
- Other eligible returns: Customer is responsible for return shipping
- Items must be returned in original condition, unused, with original packaging where possible
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method — Tannery Mor is not responsible for lost returns
6. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- You'll be notified via email within 3 business days
- Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days
- Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
7. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for the same item in a different size or color, subject to availability. If the desired item is unavailable, a full refund will be issued.
8. Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged:
- Photograph the packaging and the item immediately
- Email us within 48 hours of delivery
- We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you
9. Custom & Bespoke Orders
All custom orders are final sale. We'll share detailed specs and a preview before production begins — please review carefully, as we cannot accept returns on personalized items once crafting has started.
